I also feel weird twitches in my neck area in the mornings. I have a fairly large lesion in my mid cervical spine and wonder if maybe these are signs of healing or getting worse??? Anybody else experience this type of thing?

Thanks for any feedback. :)

Amy,

I've been on 4.5mg LDN for 2 yrs, and I, too, have developed tremors in both hands. It's pretty bad, but I'm managing. None of the meds have helped. I wish I had something that would help you!

>Hi Amy, I find it it a little disturbing that you have developed a

tremor after about 3 months on LDN. I assume you have MS. I believe in

the 9 month theory on giving your immune system time to normalise but

I don't think someone should be developing new symptoms 3 months into

LDN.

I started off with tremor on one side which got worse over 3 years.

They said I had MS but the dx was changed to Parkinson's about a year

ago. I have been on LDN for 16 months but was also put on Sinemet

(L-dopa) a year ago. Sinemet is the major treatment for PD and it has

eliminated my tremor for now. It will only work for a few years and

then it can " wear off " and you have other problems. I now take a

minimal amount of Sinemet and doing well. I have know way of knowing

if LDN has helped me or stopped PD progression. It will take years,

maybe, before I will know if LDN works for me. I'm willing to stay

with it but it would be meaningful to hear how others with PD have

done over a number of years. The PD meds can mask the disease so I

just don't know what to think. As far as I know, Dr. Bihari has the

only long term info on people with PD who take LDN and that info is

now 2 years old.

I have been on LDN for 2 months and prior to taking LDN I had very

spastic twitching in my lower neck / shoulder area. It was so bad

at night I couldn't sleep it was so annoying. When I started LDN,

it calmed right down. Now I rarely feel it, only when I'm in an

awkward position but it is so slight that it doesn't bother me at

all.

LDN doesn't always take away the " old symptoms " of MS, but if you

have any improvement, it's a bonus !!! I suggest continue running

the race with LDN and hope for symptom improvements. Don't be

discouraged when some of the old symptoms creep up.

It's like something is INSIDE you, under your skin, like "punching" up/out?

Never seems to be much in the same exact place, once it stops in an area, that seems to be it.

I think it's healing, it's like your muscles are waking up and saying HELLO, long time no flex :)

Doesn't last more than a few weeks, and then you'll get them every so often, not much, just here and there. After a while I thought they were pretty funny. When they happened I would laugh and say hello back.

I also had recurrance of old symptoms: IN REVERSE ORDER going back 5 years of exacerbations, and the 4th one isn't even MS related.

Going on Day 945 for me, 3.0 MG
