Hi! I started on Thursday at 4.5 and yes, problems sleeping :o( What synptoms

are you experiencing? I presently have L'hermitte's and feel like since i've

started, it is subsiding but am getting the tingles and numbness in my hand and

arm.

I also experienced disturbed sleep,in fact still am,altho it is improving.

But it is possible to reduce the dose if necessary.

Just purchase clear empty capsules and visually halve the amount.

Fiddly but not too difficult.

Good luck.

Hi ,

Be careful about decreasing the dosage from your capsule. I understand that

the LDN is very small and may not be evenly distributed within the capsule

itself. Someone have earlier suggested putting it in liquid, shaking it up

to dissolve and then portioning it out. That may be an option, but keep in

mind that some people find LDN stronger in their systems when it is in

liquid form. I think it is because it goes into your system faster. This

can also be a good thing for some people as far as symptom relief. It

depends on your body.

The biggest thing with LDN is that everybody is different and you never know

for sure how you are personally going to react to small changes with LDN.

Personally I would stay on 3mg for a while (if it is bearable) and see if it

works it's way through.

My best

Aletha

your body is 'waking up' and starting to act normal.

I don't know how the sleeping affects us all so differently. From Day 1 my spouse told me I sleep more peacefully.

I don't have a normal sleep pattern though, since I work 12-8am. But once I'm asleep, nothing much disturbs me.

It is not unusual to have problems sleeping at first. My experience

is that the body needs some time to get used to the LDN. I took LDN

for a few days (I'm not ill, but was just curious how I would feel)

and couldn't sleep anymore. My boyfriend did sleep but had very

disturbing dreems and was talking in his sleep all night. This faded

after about a week and now he has no problems sleeping anymore. He

uses LDN for MS.

I would advise you to stick to 3mg for at least a week. You can also

take some melatonine at night to help you sleep. If the problem

doesn't fade you can open the capsule and take half of it dissolved

in water, until your body is used to it.

Good luck and take care,

Carolina

Not sure where to get capsules. I am in the country. Prbably easier

to open one, pour have in mouth and save the rest.

Thanks

Hi Aletha, Thanks for the warning. I don't like to tamper with

things. I will stay at the 3mg as long as I can. What about taking

it during the day?

Hi Carolina, Thanks so much for the tip. I took half a sleeping

pill last night and while I did get to sleep it didn't hit me like it

normally does. I don't like taking things to sleep. It just puts me

in a vicious circle.

Hi ,

I've been on LDN for just over 2 months now and still have

difficulties with sleeping. I fall asleep OK but tend to wake up

every night around 3 - 4 a.m. and sometimes can't fall back asleep.

Someone had suggested to make sure you take it at exactly the same

time every night and this would help with sleeping. Unfortunately I

don't always take it at exactly the same time....I tend to take it

anywhere between 9 - 12. Maybe consistancy would help you.

Good luck,

Hi ,

Thanks for replying. I hope the sleep problem does not go on as long

as it has with you. I don't think I can function in a dazed stupor.

Fatigue really messes up my ms. I have been taking mine every night

at 9pm. Tonight I tried taking it at 7pm. I am like you in that I

seem to toss and turn then by 12pm finally fall asleep. Same time

each night. It's weird.

I wish you luck also! Hopefully soon you will start to sleep better!

Hi Lesley,

I don't think the LDN will work the same way by taking it at 7pm.

Just worried

What dose are you at? The vivid dreams will subside.
