It very convenient just to rub it on his skin while he's asleep, but if it's not doing any good, then convenience doesn't really matter. We have been dispensing it from our pharmacy since the late 90's and I'm not aware that a specific time is needed. LDN's activity is based on the person's natural circadian rhythm and that depends on the cycle that a person develops themself. That basic rhythm chages as we age. The goal is to use the dose close to the time of sleep. Larry J.
