If you take LDN before 9pm it doesn't work at halting your disease progression.

LDN only stays in your system for about 5 hours and the LDN needs to be in your

system between 2am and 4am for it to work.

Get a sleep aid like melatonin from healthfood store or an over-the-counter

sleep aid and after 3 to 4 weeks on LDN try going without the sleep aid and see

if you've gotten use to it yet. If not go a bit longer with the sleep aid.

Check warning labels on any sleep aid and make sure it doesn't interfere with

any of your other meds.

Hi ,

Darn it all I was gonna say that by taking the ldn at 7pm I feel more

rested and actually dare I say better? Not one to jump too fast I was

going to wait a few days before I mentioned anything.

I don't understand why its crucial that the ldn be taken between 9pm

and 3am. What happens within our bodies between 2am and 4am? If you

take the ldn prior to 7pm does that mean it won't halt progression but

may ease symptoms?

I keep seeing the magic hours between 9pm and 3am but have yet to read

the reasoning behind it. I would really like to learn though if

someone could explain it. A friend of mine with ms, has said the ldn

has given her life back. Initually she took it at night but couldn't

sleep. Her doctor told her to take it during the day. It's working

great for her.

It's really weird! I tried taking an ativan to help me sleep and no

go. A couple of nights ago I took a sleeping pill. It's a script I've

had from way back. It didn't work like it use to. Its almost like the

ldn won't let my body sleep until a certain time. That being said,

does that mean, that we are all different in that the ldn would not

work at the exact same time for everyone?

I would really like to learn more about this drug. I have read the ldn

website and others but they don't give the mechanics of the drug.

LDN taken off the schedule of 9pm to 3am can help symptoms but will not halt

progression. This iswhy Bihari is so insistent on the time frame.

Normal endorphins have their most production during the hours of 2am to 4am and

LDN needs to be in your system during those peak endorphin hours to get the

proper endorphin spike to halt disease progression.

Try taking 6mg or 9mg or as much as 15mg or 18mg of Melatonin 30 minutes to an

hour before you take your LDN. Start with 6mg and if not enough go up to 9mg

the next night and up until you get a sleep connect. If you are on blood

pressure meds at night do not take melatonin. Check drug interactions for

melatonin.

Hi ,

Thanks for your reply. I really appreciate it! I can see from the

site that you are one busy lady! I thank you for that. Not many

would run a site of this magnitude.

I have been researching endorphins but this ms brain doesn't absorb

what it used to. I wonder what exercise, chocolate plus the ldn

would do together. *grin*

I will take tonights dose at 9pm.
