Broward's ESY Guidelines

ESE Parents of Broward County:

Attached is the final draft of the Extended School Year (ESY) guidelines that will be used by ESE specialists in directing IEP Committees making ESY decisions for next year. It has been re-typed from the county's draft so it does appear different from the original. The ESY committee meets again on July 24th.

Please read it though and comment. ESE Parent Advisory is putting together a short parent friendly version. ESE Parent Advisory wants to collect any information on summer programs and camps from parents.

Please forward any comments on the ESY guidelines, current summer programs, and summer camps. This information will be used to create a packet of useful information to help parents with next year's programming (both school and camp based).
