<<I don't expect them (her family) to come to any conclusion, if any.

I just wanted the opportunity (3 months or so ago) to " show "

them/her what I had found (research wise) on Risperdal & schz.

Maybe it wasn't worded in the most correct terms " causing her

troubles " ... but, if she is, in fact non-schz(I hope), and the med-

cocktail she seems to be on (or was on) could be causing the schz

like symptoms, then, that is for them to dicide. - I never met

anyone like this...Other than the basic things I've learned in Psych

class[one semester] (had to be taken for college) - I knew nothing,

other than what college had taught me, about schz prior to dating

her...then my web-research began, and to me...it's plain as day,

black & white. When you read about it vs. how she is (was when I

knew her)

I may have met her during a non-episode time, and then....blam, or

possibly she felt a bit more comfortable with me and started to

share her most inner feelings. I dunno Janet. I could go on & on

about my experiences.

I just wanted to share with them, what I had experienced while

dating her. I wanted to tell the " things " she actually believes to

be true, tell them about her " actions " while I knew her. etc.

I hope this answers your question, if not - re ask, and I will try

to go into more detail and/or make a reply more simple.

- whatever it takes...

I just think (again, my own opinion) this girl needs some help,

other than what she is getting now. Also, maybe that her family be

aware of what shcz " is " in a nut-shell, and let them take it from

there. Switch doc's??? Stop med's??? that is for them. >>

** Keven and I did have an exchange offlist about this. I will foward it

to the list today.

The problem here is that it appears the young woman is exhibiting signs

of what is known as schizophrenia. Don't think for one moment that any drug

used for this purpose is any less damaging than an SSRI.

There are ways to actually treat and eliminate this problem not using

pharmaceutical drugs (which do not eliminate the problem).

My suggestion would be to advise the woman of this website and if she

wishes for a different view and way, she will come here.

Regards,
