Chief seems to be getting worse? Trying CMO/DMSO

Uly, have you tried CMO? I saw that someone suggested it earlier? One

could try it internally and also externally by dissolving it in DMSO and

rubbing it on the affected joints and muscles. I have personally applied it

topically that way (as well as taken it internally with good results).

Cheif's progress has definately gone backwards. He is having trouble walking

even in the house now :(

Not really sure why he has gotten worse? He is as bad or if not worse than

when I first started the DMSO.

I pushed around his hip joint and found the spots where he is really sore.

As I pushed fairly hard he lifted his upper lip...so I know is sore there.

I also shaved him again around the hip joints as his fur has grown really

fast? Maybe the DMSO wasn't absorbing properly?

Hopefully I will see an improvement tommorow morning?

I meant to get back to this question in an earlier post. I haven't tried CMO

yet, but I have done a little reading on it. It seeems like a good product. I

like the fact people have taken 2 bottles of it and haven't had to take it for

years after and still got the benifits from it.

I couldn't see anywhere that sold it he in Australia. I don't want order it from

the US if I can help it because of the long wait time for arrival and massive

postage cost's.

Cheers

I think I suggested the CMO orally. One nagging thought has kept

popping up when I read about chief. I had a german shepherd dog that

had displaysia of the hips and turned out he had cancer there too.

Hi Uly,

I'm sorry but have forgotten Chief's original diagnosis. Was it arthritis?

By a vet? Or, possibly something else? You have to know what is the cause

before you can address it, is what I'm trying to say.

The reason I ask, my dog is at the vet and just completed an extensive

workup. I suspected stones or cancer. No cancer, no heart problems, lungs

are fine, no masses, no worms, no stones but they did find one swollen

kidney. He was in agony but the bloodwork didn't show this until they did

X-rays. They also gave him a steroid plus a low protein diet.

I took him some Cordycep tablets and tried to give him two tablets in hot

dog bites but he refused them. I will bring him home tomorrow and drench

him with this.

I will also give him some oral DMSO to hopefully counter the swelling. It

won't hurt him, in my opinion.

The Cordyceps is specific for kidney, liver and immune; a Chinese remedy.

Of course, it isn't 'proven' but millions of Chinese are good enough for me.

I gave a bottle of this to a friend of mine who had kidney failure. He'd

lost 30 to 40 lb and looked terrible, and either was on dialysis or about to

go on dialysis. The next time I saw him, in about 3 months, he looked in

perfect health. He hugged my neck and said, You saved my life!

I also believe CMO (animal based only!), to be fantastic!

In January 2010, The vet said Chief has Hip dysplasia and Arthritis in his back

hips as they go together. She said, His legs will go before the rest of his body

does and then I will have to put him to sleep.

There was never an x ray taken of his hips. He had a blood test done but just a

general one not specifically for his hips.

Yes I am familiar with Cordyceps through my Chinese medicine diploma course. Yes

it is fantastic...but hard to get good quality? Glad you could help your friend

heal with Cordyceps :)

I will look further into CMO.

PS Chief seems a little bit better this morning.

Cheers
