That is great news.....don't be taken aback by his very laidback

style. At first, I was not too sure I would like this guy, but he

grew on me. He was pretty open with us as far as letting us make the

decision, but definitley reccommended banding. He also refers

patients to Hanger Orthotics in Long Island...there are locations in

Farmingdale and Hicksville.

I chatted with another mother on this board that went to Dr.

Scneider, and he did NOT recommend a band for her son. That gives me

a very good feeling about this Dr.s credibility---he does not

automatically refer to banding with every case. My ped told me that

this guy is in one of the best practices on Long Island.

Good luck on Friday, and let me know how it goes! Maybe I will see

you there or at Hanger someday!
