Firstly, labs do not send results back to the Dr. that say 'normal'. Doesn't

happen! Dr.'s recieve results with your numbers, and a 'reference range'.Dr.'s

are doing 'interpreting' for patients, when they tell them 'normal' cause thats

all 'average' patient wants to hear.Don't be 'average' patient.

If you had typical thyroid panel run, your Dr. is going by a 60 y.o. outdated

and discredited test called the TSH test, to tell you your Thyroid is

'normal'.This is probably wrong! What you need to tell if your thyroid is

producing enough thyroid hormone, is newer " Free T3 " and " Free T4 " tests.You

can not accurately diagnose or rule out primary hypothyroidism based on the TSH

test.

In addition, even IF your thyroid IS producing enough hormone, your cells need

Iron, in order for the thyroid hormone to get into the cells.Unless the thyroid

hormone gets into the cells, your body can't utilise it.

My wife has had frequent nosebleeds since high school, (20+ years). They have

stopped, within the last year, as we finally dealt with her hypothyroid

condition, which, based on this and other symptoms, she has had since high

school. It has gone untreated all this time because Dr.'s continued to use this

stupid TSH test as the primary rule in/rule out test for

Hypothyroidism.Treatment reccomendations are too complex to deal with on one
