Guest guest Posted July 10, 2011 Report Share Posted July 10, 2011 My 5 year old corgi/terrier dog is haveing major back problems and even though the vet gave him prednisone and some pain pills he is still in a great amount of pain. I have a 25-30% mix of DMSO and have been putting it on his back with a cotton pad but his fur is thick and I don't know if he is geting enough.It seems to help a bit but I am hoping someone can suggest what I can do to help him. I feel so useless and he is whinning in pain. The vet says just to keep him still for the weekend and not to change his medication.
