>Please share what her diet consists of and source of water.<

She gets two cans a day of six gluten-free Fancy Feast flavors. I give her the

same water I drink, which claims to be spring water. She doesn't like dry foods

and I don't ask her to eat them.

>Also, can you think back ... was she on a vaccination schedule in her young

life?  Or still?<

In NYC, no vet will work with a cat who isn't vaccinated, although I have tried

to keep any vaccines to a minimum. The vets say it's to avoid legal problems. I

think they just walk in lock-step.

>Was she/is she given flea/tick medicine?<

She's strictly an indoor cat, so I don't give her flea or tick medicines.

>Is she bathed or dusted?<

No, unless a vet did it without telling me.

>Have you considered it being something in her environment that she comes in

regular contact with such as carpeting or products used on the carpet for

cleaning, etc...  same for other types of flooring<

I only vacuum the rug, I don't use anything else on it.

>Perhaps she spends a lot of time on the bed or other surfaces that have been

run through the laundry & could be subjected to dyes & fragrances in laundry

products.<

I'm sensitive myself to the perfumes in various laundry products, so I'm careful

about what I use.

>Just some thoughts.  After 10 years you have probably thought of everything but

since you are still seeking answers it doesn't hurt to go through the drill

again.<

I've been through the drill over and over until I am nearly exhausted.

>Were any of the vets holistic or integrative type of practitioners?<

Her current vet is semi-integrative, but he is still an advocate of vaccines and

shots of cortisone.

A truly integrative vet in this city of crazily expensive medical care for both

animals and people would be much more expensive than I can afford. I've spent

thousands of dollars so far, and used up all my savings trying to heal her.

Hugs, Dianne
