Guest guest
DMSO is very drying to the skin. (Used straight, can feel like a sunburn, complete with peeling days later). When using it to transdermally deliver other substances, you should dilute it with at least 70% water of CS. mix is 75% CS, 15% Glycerin (softens skin but is drying too)and 10% DMSO. I have skin issues too and generally rely on Shea butter, Aloe, or Virgin Coconut oil. Be well, Léna Hi All, I, Like many people, have sun damaged skin on the top my forearms and hands. The skin on these areas of my body is thin and easily bruised / damaged by the slightest bump. My question is, Would the antioxidant properties of DMSO help reverse this type of damage? If so, what could I mix with it? I have a bottle of 99% pure DMSO. (Haven't tried it yet) Oh, By the way, I'm a 55 year old male. Thanks in advance IrVulture

Guest guest
Having an off day: meant water OR CS, CS being colloidal silver. Sorry. > > > Thank you for your quick reply, but what is " Water of CS " ?
Guest guest
I googled urea/carbamide, but couldn't find a place to purchase. Any suggestions? thanks, Be well, Léna Thin skin is more than sun damage since young folks rarely have thin skin even when sunburned. So look for some nutrients that assist the skin. In the meantime, one of the things I have done is mix a bit of urea/carbamide with DMSO and water and use that for skin issues. Works nicely. Guest guest
Lena, Carbamide/carbomide is the same thing as urea, just a " more acceptable " name than something that sounds like urine. I bought Nitrogen46 at a fertilizer co-op...Had them fill up a gallon cannister...turned out to be a little over 4 lbsa at $1.77. If you're not near farming, golf courses and lawn services will carry it. I've heard folks buy it at Lowes but I didn't see it. Copied stuff I've already done below; hope it works for you. Guest guest
From what I've been hearing is that Lipitor, cortisone, and other pharma products cause this to happen over time. If you've not taken any pharma products I'm curious what causes this? Theo -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subject: DMSO For sun damaged skin? Guest guest
I eat two three ounces of coconut oil daily, generally put it on my oatmeal, mornings. I also take two three ounces of aloe vera juice, called george's juice, taste mostly like water, improves my skin, nails and hair. But my skin is not ie damaged, it's more like normal. david lubbock tx. > > > Urea and Allantoin both good for hydrating skin, can be found at > www.soapgoods.com > > > > > > > > > > > >

I suspect sun damage from working outside because the only areas affected on my hands and arms are where I tan the darkest. The skin on my arms and hands that has gotten less exposure to the sun is still fine. I've always worn long pants, a hat and a short sleeved shirt when outside, and have no problems anywhere else.... Guest guest
Liver weakness I always gathered - unless childhood vaccines do this - either via the liver or another route. " Fair skinned " people being more vulnerable.
