Guest guest
I met someone in the Stop and Shop in Mamaroneck that had a Hanger helmet on their child. They were very happy with the dr. there. We're going to Cranial Tech in Paramus. It only takes 1/2 hour/45 minutes to get there, and they are wonderful! Guest guest
Hi Kerry, I live near Poughkeepsie and have been down in Westchester often w/ my daughter. Her orthopedist is down there. He is treating her dislocated hips and in 2 weeks we'll be going to Hanger for her hip brace. I don't know how soon You are going, but if I go first I'll let you know. Also... Brynne's head MRI came back normal and we're still positioning her and hoping for the best. We see the ped in 1 week and we'll go from there with the head shape. (I can only worry about 1 body part at a time ) Meg
Guest guest
Kerry: I go to a Hanger orthotist in Long Island and my son has done very well with his helmet. He has been wearing it for two weeks now, no problems adjusting, sleeping it in just fine, no red spots. Really no complaints at all. Do you know if they are offering a Starband at Hanger, or if its the NIC band that we have (which is just really their modified version of the Starband). The ortho we use in Long Island is Tony Cappo, and I believe he serves several Hanger offices. If he is the guy you see in Westchester, you will be fine. I don't know any other orthos out of the area. Guest guest
Thanks so much for writing back. I don't know which orthotist I'll be seeing, but they seem like a pretty together outfit. I'm so glad your son is doing well. I don't know which band they are offering, but I can let you know.
