Guest guest
Hi all, just some notes in passing Keven, Michigan huh? nice... I too have roots there, although Texas has been home for 30 years. I have relatives all over the state, from Owasso to to Linden to north of Rockford, a little berg called Sand Lake where every residennt is a relative, lol I can walk down the village street and meet anyone and find out we are cousins of some degree... kind of neat for a gal raised under the US Air Force's forced moving regime... we never had a home for more than 3 years... SAC headquarters outside Omaha, Nebr. and Izmir, Turkey for high school were the longest 'homes' I had... no wonder I put down roots for us here near Dallas all these years lol skipping days in drug withdrawal.......... bad bad idea, each of these drugs has a built in half life, this is the amount of time a drug can stay in the system at it's greatest effect... the half life is the amount of time for one half of the drug to remain in the body... I will use effexor to illustrate... it takes 1-2 hours to get into the system, to begin to be metabolized... then 10 hours later 1/2 of it is gone, in another 10 hours 1/2 of that amount is gone... can you see how these drugs add up with multiple doses? One time I figured out the amount of valium in my husband... it blew me away as valium can stay active for 21 days in some people... he had the equivilant of 500mg of the 'schisse' in him .... blew me away.... Kim.......... sorry dear, but this computer is giving me a hard time, can't seem to get on the internet easily.... will try to check in several times during the day to check for pending posts, so sorry... Sally, hang in, you can do this, we are here for you.... and you know what.....? it is OK to feel lousy, cry, show emotion any way you can, it is good to feel... really feel, it is OK.... you are human and you are healing, it will take time, but time does have a way of going by.... Janet, can I come visit? I used to take a yearly trip to Leesberg and Disney with our exchange students.. did it 5 times, one kiddo hated Mickey Mouse and wanted to go to the Grand Canyon instead lol which we did do that year, but Niki and I went to Leesberg to visit my favorite uncle..... he is gone now and I have live with my wonderful memories of my Uncle Gerald, he was and still is a gem to me.... I want to retire down the street from you lol, love Florida Jan, you are my shining star, hugs to you.... each post from you warms the heart to us all Debbie, so good to hear from you, you are doing wonderfully To all others, I don't mean to slight any of you, my heart goes out to your plight and will try to catch up more later hugs all
