Guest guest
Yeah Bach has a whole behavioral check list that is quite impressive. Doesn't look too believable up front, though. But I'm giving it a good chance. Guest guest
Dear Melody, You said: <<After having a terrible, irritable, rageful day today (being without a mood stabilizer), I went and bought some flower essences suggested for me. I tried to buy some Cherry Plum, for people who afraid they are going to " lose it, " but they were out, so I bought a combination spray called Bach Rescue Remedy. The only thing I noticed so far is it's 27% alcohol. Geez, that would give anyone a buzz. >> ** I don't think 1/64th of an ounce of a fluid that is 27% alcohol will give you a buzz :-) Look at the size of the dropper. You said: <<Just how are these mild flower essences supposed to help when we have severe symptoms? >> ** They work beautifully. The more severe the symptoms the more difference you'll notice. You said; <<Is the brandy flavor and alcohol supposed to calm you down? I honestly don't think this is strong enough to stop my near murderous rages. >> ** No. There is too little alcohol in a dose to do anything. The entire bottle itself is only 10 or 20 mL, right? This is less than an ounce. You may not think it is strong enough but try it anyway. Have the store order you some Cherry Plum or try getting it online. This is an important one for murderous rages. You said: <<Thanks, and I don't mean to sound ungrateful, I'm just in a rotten mood.>> ** I can understand why you're in a rotten mood considering what you're going through. Take care, Melody. BTW, I love the sig file! Regards,

Do a search on it in the archives and you will see what > has to say about it and how she prefers to use it. ** Aconite is appropriate only for moderate to severe anxiety, and panic attacks. As mentioned below, magnesium would be more appropriate. Kim said: > > > If you have not been diagnosed with any kidney problems, magnesium can be > very calming and relaxing as well. I will have to talk to about > what dosage she would use if she were in your situation.>> If kidneys are healthy, a person should be able to easily take 200 mg. of magnesium 3x a day or 300 mg. 2x a day. Kim said: > > > Hang in there, be very kind and gentle with yourself, and remind yourself > that this is all from the withdrawal. It will pass. Don't hesitate to slow > down your reductions if that is what your body needs.>> ** My sense is that it was too large a decrease. If I were doing this, I'd go back up about 5 mg. As far as difficulty concentrating, this is withdrawal. It's not going to be pain-free. Honestly, it's not going to be anywhere near pain-free. For severe fatigue, a homeopathic remedy called Carbo Vegetabilis 30C can be helpful (according to Boericke's Materia Medica). Guest guest
Dear List Members, I did some calling about better prices for Bach Flower Remedies if purchased in larger amounts so as to provide them to you less expensively. I did the math to figure out the prices on single bottles and combination remedies. Here is a list below: -- Single 20 mL bottles - $7.50 plus shipping (in the U.S. it would be about $3.50 - $3.95) [regular retail price anywhere from $11.50 - $15.00] -- Combination essences (up to 5 blended) - 2 oz bottle - $15.00 [regular retail price would be $11.50 - $15.00 per essence in 20 mL bottles] I'll do this if people think it would be useful to them. Perhaps an online guide to the essences would be helpful. I'll post one of those soon. Thoughts, feedback, and questions are welcome.
