>this sounds like mites.<

Hi ,

I had that idea myself. Punkin has been tested extensively for mites, but they

couldn't find anything.

>He had chewed all the hair off his tail, his back legs, and from his butt as

far up his back as he was able to turn his head to reach the skin.  Not only

chewed all the hair off, but would chew his skin till it bled.<

That really sounds like the way she behaves! The e-collar keeps her from having

large raw patches all over her body, but without it, she can lick herself bloody

in under an hour.

>FOOD GRADE DE: sprinkle that on her skin.  It will also kill mites--it just may

take a bit longer.<

Thanks a lot, . I think I actually still have some DE. I had tried putting

it in her food, but she wouldn't eat anything that had DE in it. I never thought

of putting it on her skin. Would I still need to bathe her before patting it on?

Gee, if this works, it will be such a relief!!

Hugs, Dianne
