Guest guest
Check out RoboForm 2 Go as well. http://www.roboform.com/ It works with IE above 6.0; Firefox. Chromium. IPhone, and MAC/Apple systems. I love this one because I have it on a thumb drive and any computer I work on I can have my passwords with me and when I remove the thumb drive all traces of the password information is removed with the thumb drive. Initial use with less than 25 total passwords is free and the whole program is under $30 with lifetime updates. Once again no relation to the software just a very satisfied user. Guest guest
How do you manage backups for the passwords on the thumb drive? I've often though of using one for things I'd rather not leave on my PC but then I would have another thing to think about backing up. I've had a few thumb drives lose data so I have less confidence in them unless they are frequently backed up. I like the idea but don't need another backup to think about. -----Original Message-----From: [mailto: ]On Behalf Of Beth Sullivan, DOSent: Wednesday, January 06, 2010 4:24 PMTo: Subject: RE: saving passwrods help Check out RoboForm 2 Go as well. http://www.roboform.com/ It works with IE above 6.0; Firefox. Guest guest
It is a program run from the jump drive. They are stored on the usb drive that you keep with you. The only time they are accessible is when you insert the jump drive into a usb port. They are not stored by roboform unless you choose the version with online backup, which I don’t. I have been using this for 5 years and have never had any type of problems and I have used the usb drive I have it installed on in several different locations without any problems From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of Egly Sent: Wednesday, January 06, 2010 5:33 PM To: Subject: Re: saving passwrods help Beth, My passwords are to bank accounts. how do you know roboform isn't taking the passwords.
