Hi Keven, your doc was a fool... so he says ----

----In My Doctor's Humble Opinion-> doctor: " Xanax, is nothing more

that

doing a shot of strong Irish whiskey " ... " It'll calm you, and help

you better function if you get a panic attack " ...

sooooooooooooo he puts you on a drug and creats a " drugaddict rather

than an alcoholic " ...what a goof he made.

you said-----

-------It seems that I have lost the ability to " yawn " .

So weird, my Bob yawned for three months when first given his mix of

killer drugs... wellbutrin, then paxil, then trazedon..... he could

not stop... then boom, he has been unable to quench his need to yawn

at all for 3 years... hard to even relieve the pressure in his ears

at times when he just COULD NOT YAWN.... no one has mentioned this

before, thanks

then you said------

------I told him, the moment I wake, I have about (7) seconds of what

feels " normal " , and then super-racing thoughts arrive,>

Wow, ditto to your feelings.... Bob has this EXACT thing happen... at

times he just would lay in bed trying to get that feeling of normalcy

back... how sad for you both....

You wrote---In one of my inital posts to (HIYA JOEY!!!),

Hi honey, lol you are in my thoughts... you are just too close to my

daughters age and are having my husband's problems, it makes you

somehow close to my heart....

anyways...I had

As to your mentioning of the different classes of drugs... I have a

thought on this, seems they all, whether benzos, AD's - new or older,

anti-psychotics... it makes no difference.... I have read thousands

of pages of posts and info on them all....to me, any drug, herb,

synthetic, whatever... will react with the neurotransmitters in the

brain, doesn't much matter how they do it, but they interfere with

the brains ability to function normally... herein lies the trouble..

when the brain is altered, it has to go through a time of healing.

a.) Maybe, just maybe, the Benzo withdrawl is more diffucult than I

had previously had intentions on what it would be like.

or

b.) Half Life (effect) of Pax was showing itself:

or

c.) Stress overload, triggered " something " ...

Well, I think you hit the nails on the head here... all three most

likely happened and you had a huge problem, not recognized at all by

the med field... no wonder so many go back on their drugs...

Keven's words of truth-------

------Group, we ALL have stress, especially now (holidays) everyone's

freaking out for ONE DAY...and then, it's gone...we'll soon forget

these stresses, and go back to rutine...

You speak the truth here, one day at a time and this stressful season

is so hard.... hang in there everyone... try to stay as busy as you

can and find a tiny ray of hope each day...

So sorry to hear you are having a hard time emotionally right now,

family problems are so hard, please, if it helps you to share this,

do so... it is OK, heck, I have spewed my and Bob's life story on

this group lol no secrets here, one person's saddness can touch a

heart string in someone else and compassion from unknown sources can

be so healing... hugs
