Guest guest
Hi everyone, we are back from our trip home to Australia. Had a wonderful time, and the flights were not too painful. Just don't ask about slipping off the seat cos I fell asleep.........! We are over a month in the helmet now and it is all going along swimmingly. Her latest scan showed that it is doing what it should and she is making some progess so we are happy. While we were back home we took the helmet off on a few occasions as it seems the weather (hot and humid) was causing it to rub a bit and she had huge red marks on her forehead. They disappeared though and she hasn't had too much trouble since. My Mother had a great time telling everyone and anyone about 's helmet and why she was wearing it. She has been on a medical talkback radio show talking about it as well. Seems she generated quite a bit of interest in the topic, with the Doctor as well as the listeners. It's amazing how many people are interested in plagio once they know it exists. Although that is very apparant just by the number of posts on this board. cheers JA Mum to , starband April
