Guest guest
Garnet, Below is my input at the Cancer Cure Yahoo Group and Gamill's reply. I didn't know CS could not be taken in by the DMSO through the skin. Your views please on this. ============ Wed Dec 8, 2010 9:53 am (PST) DMSO is an aprotic solvent that will not solubilize nor carry any colloidal metal through the skin. It is a common misconception that it will carry everything through the skin. Early researchers even feared that it would carry viruses and wanted it controlled. DMSO is quite remarkable though at carrying itself through the skin and it does have a few remarkable medicinal properties itself. Guest guest
Hi , This is very surprising and disappointing. I'd been treating my dry eye with CS, and when I had a flare-up of uveitis, I added a few drops of DMSO to the mix and it stopped it in record time. It was so successful that my opthamologist said to do it again if the uveitis returned. Now I'm wondering if the DMSO alone did the trick. i thought it was helping carry the CS deeper into the eye. Hmmmm. Are they sure? Be well, Léna Garnet, Below is my input at the Cancer Cure Yahoo Group and Gamill's reply. I didn't know CS could not be taken in by the DMSO through the skin. Guest guest
Do they make a difference between CS and EIS(85% ionic)?? > Hi , > This is very surprising and disappointing. Guest guest
It may not 'carry' truly colloidal particles through the skin (I don't know if that is true or not), but I see no reason that it would't 'carry' silver ions through the skin. Guest guest
I don't see any evidence that it will not carry in CS. When I use it topically or in my nebulizer I seem to get better results than CS alone. The DMSO does not have to solubilize the CS, it is already in an aqueous suspension (colloidal) and solution (ionic). Electrically Isolated Silver (EIS) is 85% ionic, there fore NOT colloidal, but in solution. Most home units are low voltage so are making less colloidal and more ionic silver. Ionic means that it is ionized and electrically bonded to the water molecules. Colloidal is atomic, not ionically charged, and simply suspended in the water molecules -- a subtle distinction that escapes most people's chemistry expertise, so I would not worry too much over this. I only mention it because most people are making their own at home so are not producing that much colloidal silver anyway. I think needs to back up his statements with more information. I for one at not at all moved by his claims. That DMSO does not transport even colloidal or atomic silver. To further address his comments: DMSO will not carry in viruses because the are greater than 1,000 daltons. Dissolved (ionic) silver or colloidally suspended silver is less than 1,000 daltons. Guest guest
Thanks Janet for the clarification. I also thought DMSO and CS combined was more potent. I've tried it many times when i am about to get sick and got relief faster with the combination. > > > > > > > > > > If you put a few drops of DMSO on the colloidal silver then DMSO > > > would take the CS into skin and blood/tissues. Guest guest
I have only used DMSO/ CS once orally, to kick a flu bug and it definitely had a major effect. And it works very well in a nebulizer, even cured my asthma. Garnet wrote: > > > Thanks Janet for the clarification. I also thought DMSO and CS > combined was more potent.
