Crisis w/withdrawal - what do I do?

The mood swings are really hitting me hard due to my

(medically emergency necessary and forced) mood

stabilizer withdrawal several weeks ago.

I keep taking the Bach Rescue Spray, but of course

it's not addressing my depression and fears. I am SO

tempted to call my pdoc and then he will put me back

on damaging drugs! It's using all my willpower not to

call him! I want to get through this without more

drugs so bad.

I need to talk to a counselor or therapist really bad.

But there is no one who will do this over the phone

for you here. The free Crisis Line sucks big time.

My first therapy appt in a year is January 7. I hope I

can hang on till then. The problem is that my mania is

causing problems in my marriage and I'm in great fear.

Also, there is holiday stress going around as I've

heard others are totally stressed out. But I am not

under any stress to buy presents or entertain so I

don't see how this could be part of the problem! Can

you catch holiday stress by osmosis?

Any ideas, anyone?

Dear Melody and Kim,

I don't see the mention of anxiety in Melody's original post. I

see " depression and fears " . Aconitum Napellus would not be

appropriate for this.

Depression? Who wouldn't be depressed finding out they have some

serious organ damage? Fears? Do you mean fears of blowing up like

you mentioned in another post? Or is it fear about what's going on

with your body? If it is the former, the remedy indicated is Cherry

Plum. If the latter, your fear is a normal reaction just as feeling

depressed is normal.

How about sitting with these things? There's nothing wrong with

feeling this way. All human beings feeel this way at times. The

problem is some people never get to learn how to work through these

things because they get prescribed a drug and then take it. This

numbs them out to the normal experiences and emotions one experiences

during certain events in life.

I'll look at some point on Tues. for some clarification on

this.

Hi and all;

Maybe you can confirm or deny this observation. I have had

this deep in de marrow of the bone ache which makes me very

uncomfortable and depressed. I startd taking about .25 melatonin every

4-6 hr. yesterday. and kept it up for about 24 hrs then let it go. well,

i took some about an hour ago and within about 30 minutes that deep in

the de bone ache and depression lifteed again signficantly, not all the

way but so as i am comfortable. Any comment on this?
