It coats the hair and gives great natural highlights and covers grey (if there isnt too much). You cant get more natural, it is ground up henna plants. It is the same stuff that they use for the henna tattoos traditionally done on hands and feet that have become popular. NEVER have anyone do a black henna tattoo, they add black hair coloring to it to give the color and many people have severe reactions.
