Roseanna,

this is one of my biggest problems also, the burning sensation in the bottoms

of my feet, and the tingling sensation, like nerves firing. how long were you

on the guaf. before you started feeling better, and what other methods have

you tried?? i am really leaning on this idea for hope. emily

Hi Elaine and other Guaifenisen users-

If you are going to use the guaifenisen protocol, I suggest you read Dr. St.

Amand's book (www.guaidoc.com). I've been using it for over two years and

am feeling greatly (80%) improved. Pain is almost all gone, I just wish I

could get my muscles to stop burining when I use them.

If anyone has any helpful hints on that issue, I'd be delighted to hear

them!

(and anyone else interested in guaifenisen)-

Please feel free to mail me privately with questions

(roastzanna@...). Go to the www.guaidoc.com site and find a wealth

of information there. Also look at Bob Joy's site (don't have the URL

handy, but go to Google and scan for Bob Joy and you'll find it). The

guaidoc site has links to a guaigroup listserv support group which can help

a bunch, there is also a yahoo guai group that is pretty freewheeling (the

guai group is more reserved) but helpful, nonetheless.

Guai doesn't work for everyone and can be tricky to manage at first, but if

you get good advice and support it should make you better and better over

time (just as now you feel worse and worse).

Kate-

Thanks for the really great suggestion, but I'd need a magnetic wetsuit! If

only my problem were limited to my feet, but alas it's every muscle, even

the little ones in my eyes and the ones I chew with. Takes me forever to

eat. Burn, burn, burn.
