The ph is 9.5. The effectiveness of LiquaPar Optima drops off at pH 8. Maurice

And if so, can you direct us as to where we can purchase some (hopefully not by the gallon ). Di

Are there other preservatives, other than Suttocide A for a higher pH range? Thank you. Beth Day

Beth, the Suttocide was mentioned as an alternative to LPO as the scrub-preservation discussion began to incorporate true soaps to facilitate rinsing - which can change the pH of the whole formula, depending upon how much soap you use, perhaps enough to be outside the LPO range. -

Are you refering to using LiquaPar Optima as a preservative in an anhydrous (water-free) salt scrub? If yes, the salts will not effect the LiquaPar Optima. Are there other preservatives, other than Suttocide A for a higher pH range? I'm not aware of any. Maurice -------------------------------------------------------- Maurice O. Thanks! That clears things up even more. Is that AHA as in Alpha Hydroxy Acid? Or AHA as in ... " I GOT IT!!! " LOL! See how easily misinterpretation can happen lol!
