Guest guest
Lexie, I wonder how many mgs. of Paxil you were on when you felt like a zombie. The reason I ask is because I am SUPER sensitive to drugs and can't even take some of the herbs and minerals that many Fibro patients recommend. I am so sorry to hear what you have been going thru. I will be praying for you! Hugs,Ursula
Guest guest
Hi Lexie, I am sorry that all of these things have come down on you a once but you can bounce back. If we are down, we don't have to stay down. If you get a chance, get the book " What your doctors may not tell you about Menopaus " by Dr. Lee. It is an awesome book. I hope your daughter is better and I know things will work out for you. Keep looking up..........Tonya
Guest guest
I forgot to mention that you have my sympathy as well. I lost my uncle almost 2 years ago of lung cancer. He was the first sibling from my moms family of 13 to pass.

Guest guest
Thanks Ursula! I have to try something! I have never been a person who is down and lately with all our stuff(our daughter was hit by a truck, I found a lump in my breast, my husband was laid off, My best friend died of breast cancer , I don't ovulate anymore and have no progesterone)I seem to get really down just after my period. But with antidepressents I have so many side effects. I tried paxil a couple of years ago and it made me a barely walking zombie. So now I am totally nervous about taking them. My Doctor wants me to take it for one week a month. Just when I get my period. Thanks for responding lexie You can never have to many friends Re: Lexie's Question Lexie, I've never taken Zoloft, but have been taking 10mg. of Paxil a day for a few years. My Rheumatologist prescribed this for my muscle pain and it helps quite a bit. Not only that, but it has helped my outlook tremendously. I had tried a few other anti-depressants before this one but always eventually had side effects like headaches. Good luck with the Zoloft. Let us know if you get some relief. ~ Ursula

Guest guest
I was only on 10mg. LOL And then after that I tried 5mgs of Celexa and the lowest dose of zoloft there is is 25mg. so I dunno what will happen. But the Doctor said that there are different components to antidepressents so it really doesn't matter until you get in the 100mg category. I wish I had become a doctor! lol lexie You can never have to many friends Re: Re: Lexie's Question Lexie, I wonder how many mgs. of Paxil you were on when you felt like a zombie.
