Guest guest
I overcame my driving issues (panic) thanks to ACT. I was agoraphopic, and now I drive to the beach, visit friends, go everywhere. Once I could not even bear to drive around the block. Thank you and all of those who contributed to this workbook. I thank you daily! I am a 35 year old woman living her life now. So I have a new thing now. Intersections. If I get the stop light, I get a very strong impulse to step/run outside of my car. I mean it is intense, and overwhelms me. I sort of chuckle at myself, no way am I getting out of my car, clearly a bit of claustrophobia here or impatience. Any thoughts on how to deal with this? It keeps cropping up. I also found while at the beach and crossing a busy road, I felt inclined to jump in front of cars. That did scare me and I locked up a bit. Here's the deal, I love life, living and so on. I do feel a bit trapped in a bad relationship but I'm doing things to " free " myself from that illusion and getting a life. Any thoughts? Thanks so much, this is the one place I know people understand me. A.
