" Orange wax tested at 100%, showed:

* No irritation potential (human patch test),

* No phototoxicity (human test), and

* No iirrtation potential (in vitro toxicity). " (1)

" In the past, citrus products have produced slight irritation and phototoxic

effects due to certain terpenes. Orange wax has no irritation potential and no

phototoxicity largely

due to the absence of those terpenes and the antiinflammatory properties of the

sterols and sterol esters " (1)

" orange wax contains not more tha 50 ppb of any individual pesticide. The U.S.

Pharmacopeia allows one ppm of any individual pesticide in lanolin " . (1)

Would that mean that bitter orange would have no terpenes? My understanding

is that this comes from the rind,,,,or is that wrong information?
