Here are just three possibilities:

Sepigel 305 (Polyacrylamide (and) C13-14 Isoparaffin (and) Laureth-7)

Novemer EC-1 Polymer (Acrylates/Acrylamide Copolymer and Mineral Oil and

Polysorbate-85)

Salcare SC91 (Sodium Acrylates Copolymer (and) Mineral Oil (and) PPG-1

Trideceth-6)

Angie, I like how the polymers work for some applications, but I

have found the smell of some to be objectionable (specifically TBG's

liquid polymer, which I have played with the most). This smell

cannot be covered with fragrance/EO's, in my opinion. Many folks

cannot smell it, but that do - whoa! I (and a few of my testers)

can detect it in 1/2% (of a formulation) quantities.

I hope you can find one that not only requires no neutralization,

but also has little odor (a " plastic-y " type of smell, very

distinct). If you do, I hope you'll consider carrying it :)

Kind regards,

Speaking of the polymers, I bought a couple from Jen S. a while back

and the labels have faded. Does anyone remember the chemical name for

these (she renamed them). One was a gel type and the other was TR-1

or TR-2, IIRC.

TIA,

As I recall, Jen sold PolyEm and PolyGel. I think PolyEm was Pemulen TR1 (or

TR2) and the PolyGel was Carbopol ETD 2020.
