Guest guest
Hi, I just got back from visiting new dentist and I am really relieved I switched. This guy really know what he is doing and has the proper air source, etc.....I am proud of myself that I switched and didn't try to take care of the other dentist by helping her figure out what kind of air source I needed. So starting at the end of April till August I'll be getting rid of 11 fillings, most of them large and 5 of them crowns. I plan on getting an Vitamin C IV with each extraction....am not looking forward to it. Meanwhile I am getting more serious about kidney, liver, gall bladder, intestinal cleanses. and zapping. Today, I just got two tests back and not good news with either of them. For the first time ever, my fasting glucose is high....125. I was so certain it was incorrect I had it re-tested....118. so the high is accurate. I was first diagnosed as a borderline diabetic in 1978 by a 5 hour glucose test and then tested again in about 1983 and had improved and was only slightly hypoglycemia (diet controlled). This is the first time I ve been tested since. My health practioner sent me this product called: UltraGlycemX....nutritional support for dysglycemia made by UltraBalance Medical Foods in Gig Harbor, WA it has in two scoops (50 grams) 150 calories, 15 g protein, 25g carbs, 3g fat The the first two ingredients are soy protein isolate, corn maltodextrin, rice polishings, partially hydrolyzed guar gum, fructose, natural flavors, magnesium citrate, calcium phosphate, locust bean gum, potassium cloride, UltraPotent C (calcium ascorbate, niacinamide ascorbate, xylitol, L-xyloascorbic acid, sodium ascorbate, magnesium ascorbate, L-lysine acetate, ascorbyl palmitate, hesperidin complex, potassium ascorbate, tetrasodium pyrophosphate, alpha-D-ribofuranose, L-cysteine, and glutathione), alpha-lipoic acid, lecithin,d-alpha tocopheryl succinate, chromium polynicotinate, inositol, zinc glycinate, selenomethionine, mixed carotenoids, copper lysinate, vanadyl sulfate, niacinamide, niacin, Manganese Chelazome Amino Acid Chelate, d-calcium pantothenate, retinyl palmitate, biotin, molybdenum amino acid chelate, pyridoxine HCL, thiamin HCL, riboflavin, cyanocoblamin, vitamin D, and folic acid. I've been following the ER4YT --type O diet since October 1998. with two breaks: one for 3 months in May - August 1999 and one 6 month hiatus from May - Oct 2000. In the first six months of it I lost 85 lbs....Mostly what I fall off with is sugar and dairy....only occasionally wheat, because the consequence is instantly more pain. But sugar seems to be my drug of choice. When I eat it, I try to limit the dairy to goat....except of course for ice cream. Last summer I got hooked on Mocha Iced Coffees....deadly. I've never been a coffee drinker, but I love it cold. Anyway since Nov 2000, I have been perfect.....for what ever reason this is always easier to stay on track in the winter.....probably because of all the available greens. I just found out about a month ago that I am a non-secretor. I don't really want to eat this product that the first two ingredients are soy and corn.....even though they are isolates. My practioner said that because they are isolates, they won't create the same allergic reaction in the body.....does anyone know whether this is true or not, or how I can find out that information?? And does anyone else have any other suggestions that would be type O friendly?? Also I got back my intestinal permeability test and I still have gut permealbility.....I thought this had resolved it self with the ER4YT diet, but it is still unhealed....and this may be accounting for the wide-spread pain I experience all of the time...Most all of the intestinal cleansing protocols also have O- Avoids. Does any one have any ideas about how to deal with this from an O friendly approach? Should I ignore the O list for the benefits of these products?? ...I am about to begin Amalgam removal and replacement and mercury de-tox. I am doing intestinal, liver, and kidney cleansing programs. And I know I have Tri-chloroethyline, Xylene and Tolulene residual from when I used to work with these chemicals. totally confused and frustrated. jaen Jaen Treesinger Bengals from the RainForest ........amazingly smart, incredibly fast and just gorgeous! Guest guest
Hi Jaen- I was looking into that same product myself and had the same concerns! For a hypoglycemic product, it sure looks high in carbs! I'm more of a protein-green vegetables diet myself, but wanted to see the nutrition facts on the label before agreeing to use the product. The product that gave me the biggest boost in healing intestinal permeability was called Primal Defense. I did the MEVY diet (no cheats) for three months with garlic, caprylic acid and goldenseal along with the PD and healed pretty much right up. I still use the stuff from time to time even though it's loaded with salycilates and therefore interferes with the guaifenisen. I figure until the gut is healed, I'm shovelling against the tide. Let me know if you decide to use the UltraGlycemX and how you do. I have a similar history of blood sugar issues. Guest guest
Hi Roseanna I've decided not to use it.....don't want the corn sugar. where can I read about Primal Defense or the MEVY diet......I thought the leaky gut was resolved, but not so. I agree, I think its the big issue, because the escapee bacteria can cause pain in joints and connective tissue. Yesterday I started a new Thyroid pill that I found at Whole Foods by Natural Source, called Raw Thyroid which is probably bovine (read mad cow now) and has a bunch of the raw gladular extracts, not just thyroid, but also thymus, adrenal, pancreas.....I feel like a totally different person. WOW major energy today. yeah. love, jaen At 8:45 AM -0700 4/4/01, Roseanna Conlon wrote: >Hi Jaen- > >I was looking into that same product myself and had the same concerns! Guest guest
Jaen- Primal Defense: http://www.risingstarlc.com/pdindex.htm MEVY diet: http://candidarecovery.terrashare.com/diet.htm You might want to work with a nutritionist or other holistic health care provider. Start slow on the PD, because as you have candida die-off the toxins released as they die will make you feel bad. I increased one capsule every three days until I was taking 20 a day, and my nutritionist thought I was amazingly resilient. You need to take about six bottles of the stuff at $45/bottle to effect the cleanse. Not only did it repopulate my flora and heal my gut, but I also sloughed off a boatload of colonic plaque (where the parasites dwell) in a totally painless way. I've been in great digestive shape ever since. I think the whole deal took me three months. Guest guest
I've been on Primal Defense for about 3 months now my doctor confirmed I was yeast free at the weekend. I take a maximum of 12 a day and will cut down to the maintenance dose of 5 a day in a month or two. My digestive system feels really good now. No bloating and unpleasant gas. I would recommend them but it's not cheap.
