DEET as plasticizer

and all, would you have this problem using EO's , how strong a

plasticizer would a high % EO formulation be? Steve in Anton

From what I have read some EOs at high concentrations can indeed affect

certain kinds of plastics as well. I think it is a matter of choosing them

carefully and keeping the concentrations low. DEET is a rather strong

plasticizer and even at low concentrations will etch and melt certain

plastics. I am testing all my formulations as I go for plastics reactions

and thus far have found none.
