Steve in Anton RE: RE: Catnip oil From what I have read some EOs at high concentrations can indeed affect certain kinds of plastics as well. I think it is a matter of choosing them carefully and keeping the concentrations low. DEET is a rather strong plasticizer and even at low concentrations will etch and melt certain plastics.
