Guest guest
Jane, See my post below to Jirarat regarding the use of fatty alcohols. As for the Ammonyx you will this material is effective at 4-6% in the formulation. Young KY Labs Innovators of Fine Personal Care Products www.kylabs.com Usage rates for ammonyx cetac and cetyl alcohol I have some cetyl alcohol and ammonyx cetac I bought some time ago, and I forget what they're for! I looked them up, and it appears that the cetyl alcohol is used as an emmolient or as an imulsion stabilizer that, among other things, increases hair softness. The ammonyx cetac is an anti-static and conditioning agent. So can anyone tell me the usage rates for these ingredients in hair contioner, and if I would need to decrease or eliminate the conditioning emulsifier from my hair conditioner recipe if I use the cetyl alcohol? Thanks folks! Jane
