Does anyone know what this is used for exactly? It is in the oil stage. Or, is there a substitute? Patti, the Pemulin is an emulsifier sold by BF Goodrich. They probably have information on their web site. You can substitute other emulsifiers. > Also on the TEA, is this used as a PH balancer? Raising the pH causes the " string " to unravel, take up more space and this is the gelling effect.
