Guest guest Posted May 3, 2007 Report Share Posted May 3, 2007 Dear Group, I am sharing an experience I recently had during mindfulness meditation. First, let me say that I sometimes think of my meditation as having discovered a " time-machine " i.e. during a recent meditation, as well as most previous ones, I travel (via my mind) back into my past; and into the fantastic future. As I sit and let my mind travel, I watch the scenes of past hurt or joy; and imagined scenes of future bliss or panic. Whatever the scene, it's as if I'm actually there reliving or living it for the second and first times respectively. Then, I notice that I noticed this experience. Also, and pretty wild, was the experience of remembering sleep-dreams that I had had in the recent and distant past (That was the coolest experience to note!).
