Guest guest
It fascinates me how some people say they are opposed to drugs and medicines, and then recommend herbal remedies. Herbs are drugs. Herbs are medicines. They may not originate within the pharmaceutical establishment (and that may or may not be a good thing). But they can be potent chemicals. I got severely, frighteningly ill from 5-HTP, and ended up in the hospital with liver damage from kava and valerian. I wasted a lot of money on GABA, which produced absolutely no results. I also had a serious negative reaction to Lamictal, so I am not exempting Big Pharma products (or Big Pharma practices) from criticism. Natural can be dangerous, as well. And those selling " Natural " products are often as interested in profits as the Big Pharma cos. (BTW, I don't know how much more natural a medication one can find than Lithium. it's on the periodic table!) K.D.
