Another Potassium Sorbate Question

The thread on Potassium Sorbate has been interesting, but I've found

it quite useful in addition to Germall Plus Liquid in some of my

blends that are more prone to problems.

So, for all of you out there who know, my question is, is there

anything that can be substituted that works as well, but isn't as

much of an irritant? (or did someone post it and I missed it?)

What is the pH of your Potassium Sorbate containing formulas and what is your

usage rate?

What sort of problems did Potassium Sorbate resolve?

--That I would have to check. Don't have it in front of me right

now.

>What sort of problems did Potassium Sorbate resolve?<

--With just using Germall liq., I was having problems with mould

developing after the product sat for about a week. After the

addition of PS, that problem disappeared.
