That's where groups like this help to fill a big need. One advantage of ZRT Labs http://www.salivatest.com/ is testing without a doctor. So in some ways we can get around the Doctor part. Going without proper testing is Very hard. There are just too many variables. Too many symptoms can come from multiple sources. I've dealt with hormones for 25+ years. Even my own hormones I test rather than guesstimate. Sadly, it is a Big problem on many levels. Just having a Doctor is no guarantee of good advice. But just stop to consider for a moment: If someone looking for hormone replacement ends up mistakenly taking levels beyond pregnancy. If those levels generate the range and kinds of symptoms seen on this site. Isn't chaecking with a Doctor part of a reasonable process? That said, many people in this country don't have access to adequate medical care in a structure they can afford. Back to me. How much can I know of someone reading these posts? Do you think it is reasonable for me to give specific, individual advice to someone I don't know who has been a victim of a misguided experiment that generates the kinds of symptoms seen in RL? Would that help or make a bad situation worse? That is a honest question, not a rhetorical one. If you have suggestions for how you think I can help, I'm open. Right now I'm limited because I was writing a series of Posts about Testing. I thought taking time and doing it right was important. But my computer is in repair and I have limited access to another. And my Drafts are in the repair shop! Safe, but beyond reach, for now. But I'm pretty open to suggestions and plain old brain- storming. I read today that ZRT takes a month! That's not ok, if true. I am used to a lab with a 5 day turn- around. In short we need to do better ... for all. Sorry. I am painfully aware that there is not always a good or adequate answer. All the best, Pat
