Guest guest
I have some neck pain, but doesn't sound as bad as yours. I am in pain management (self help) and doing accupuncture helps with the pain tremendously. Also, Rolfing has been working wonders to relieve all over body tension and misalignment. Best to you, Matty --- Lexie wrote: > Well tell me massage therapist? why everytime I got > to one MY NECK HURTS SO > BAD AND INTO MY BACK! for days? > It doesn't matter who does my neck and back! Guest guest
Hello. I have raging fibromyalgia. I recently tried Chinese Acupuncture for the first time and last time. I think perhaps I was allergic to the needles! Everyone there was getting relief, including someone who'd broken her back. But I was in immediate, super pain. I had acupuncture from a different oriental doctor years ago, successfully, but insurance wouldn't pay for him now. I did try it again. . .once, but Never again! I've used an auriculotherapist with temporary success. I've read that if you have a 'holding' shock, I did as a teenager, that all electrical healing modalities will be only temporary. Also, with Chiropractic, I can only use a really strong physical one. Another doctor my insurance won't pay for. The one they will pay for, causes me extreme pain for two days afterwards. I think he's so afraid of my fibromyalgia, he's TOO gentle. The first time, he left me with a migraine for two days. The second time, I went back for a strength test, refused adjustment, he IGNORED my wishes and adjusted me anyhow!!! It hurt to breathe for two days!!! I'll never go back to him!!! There definitely are good ones out there. They're worth the effort. I just need to be careful. I'm in a motorized wheelchair/scooter now. Sleeping and thinking deeply are out of the question. Also, I noticed some of you are in pain management. I was getting 5-7 shots from the top of my head to my knees. Sounds horrible. Wasn't. But I found out the shots cause scar tissue which cause new pain! Beware. Kate

Guest guest
Certainly, if you could get a prescription from a physician, there must be some type of pain management program that they would pay for. If you have a good doc. maybe he could make some valid suggestions.
