Guest guest
Pat - why do you feel it is important to test all three estrogens? - #3463 _____ Hi , Pat here. Briefly, because -we feel the effects of all 3 -1 & 2 will flow into each other. You need both scores to really assess level. -Last one to clear is E3. If E excess is going down you see a temporary phase of much lower 2 & 3 combined with Very high 3, as 3 finally exits. So in a crisis as we observe w/ WP group, we want a full picture. Both to evaluate now and to monitor hoped for clearing of excess. I was struck in review of Liz's numbers that the 3 was not higher than it was. If she stops E we should see a big jump in that 3 as excess E leaves the body. On a practical note. In the lab I use, P T DHEA and all 3 E's are grouped in a cost effective 'package'. It would cost more to test 'ala carte' with only partial estrrogens. Hope this helps and is clear. Best, Pat
