We had that problem after an adjustment too. I left the band off all

day, and his forehead was still red. Upon closer examination, it

looked more like irritation from the moisture buildup (he had only

been in it a week and the weather was warm). We could feel a change

in the skin texture when we rubbed across his forehead. A little

cortaid and he was better then next day.

It's hard to believe that they couldn't get it right in 2

adjustments, so I'm just offering an alternative theory.

Kat, has the ot just shaved on the foam or did you ask him to add

some moleskin to it?

He just shaved on the foam, nothing has been added.

Why don't you ask him if he can add some moleskin? Is this on a

suppose to be pressure point?

Ack! How frustrating! Hmm, I wondering along the same lines as .

Could it be a sensitivity issue? Could you ask your ortho specifically about

putting some moleskin in that spot to cut down on the contact with the skin?
