Guest guest
, How long did UHC take to come back with your denial? They are so FRUSTRATING! We were pre-approved a few weeks ago, and now they've had the actual claim for 2 weeks ( was casted on 4/30 and rec'd her band last week). I called today to check the status, and she said the claim is with nurse review (since Tuesday) and can be there for up to 30 days! What is the point of a pre-cert if they have to re-review the claim?!? I'm nervous that if someone else reviews this now, they'll deny it. My ped. said they really gave him a hard time about it in the pre-cert process, but now if a whole new group of people are looking at it.... I can't wait until this is over with. How is your appeal going? Kerri Mom to DOC banded 5/9/
