Guest guest
Hi First item is, Lynn, how do I trim posts? Since I don't know how to show the snippet in your post that mentioned your palps, I'll just address it. You probably already know about magnesium which I have found very effective for the heart palps I experienced on WP which I had not had for years. Reiss recommended Mg Glycinate from a company called Metagenics. Said that form was highly absorbable if I remember correctly. (My Reiss book is on loan) I haven't had problems with palps since starting it a month ago. Somebody else mentioned wondering about Suzanne Somer's doses. I'm not sure what she's on now but she mentioned that her doctor, Schwartzbein, usually started people out on 0.5 mg E bid and 50 mg. P bid in various forms of delivery. Suzanne did an interview with Life Extension 'Foundation magazine in Oct. 04 that quotes her as saying she was doing 1 mg. E tid (three times a day) 50 mg. P bid (twice) and Dhea 5 mg. bid which cascades down into testosterone (takes for libido periodically) And this is the low protocol that she said she feels so fantastic on! This is encouraging. She was taking capsules but doesn't necessarily feel they're better than other forms. I assume her info and opinions are taken from her MD and other practitioners she's interviewed from my impression of her book. Now I hear rumors she's on WP. Anybody know? Thanks Madeleen for reminding me that the so called " dark moods " do have their pathos. I was reminded that a few months ago I felt dead inside and realized I hadn't even cried in a very long time. Flat emotionally, horrible. As soon as I put the WP doses of E in my body I felt like a long lost beloved had returned, along with the whole spectrum of feelings. Remember that movie, " Äwakenings " ? Hope WP doesn't have the same finale. I hope I can settle into much lower HRT doses and yet maintain the spice of life! Bye for now.
