Guest guest
, I am new this board, but I completely understand what you going through. I am sorry at 24 years that is as bad as it one. I was diagnosed in my early 20's, I am 47 now. But it wasn't very bad. I wear the magnet knee pads and you can find them at Wal-Mart, or at least you can here. I have also used those white thick hose like if you were to have vein problems in your legs or you might try the best support hose you can find. When I was diagnosed with this, I also have a severe clinical depression. I go to a wonderful doctor, he is an endocrinologist, spelling might not be correct. When I have a severe attack, he will give me pain medicine, like Percocet. I am on allot of medicine. One thing I know that I can not handle this, but all I have to do is make it one minute at the time and the Lord is with me each step. I pray alot and read my bible. I could not make it with out Him. I, also, have been diagnosed with candia and that is treated with diet and medicine. This has been tough. It makes the fibro worse. In fact, it has the same symptoms as fibro. There is no telling how long I have had it, at least 2 yrs. or more. It is really hard sometimes and I can not believe my health would be such a problem. I have applied for disability and I am still waiting for there answer. I hate for you to be so young. But remember that all days will not be as bad and all you have to make it is one minute at the time. Don't give up. This is something you have to fight. I know the news is not what you wanted to here. I will be praying for you. God bless you,
