Going with Your Gut

How does ACT handle the philosopy of " going with your

gut? "

I have someone whose way of life I admire very much.

And she keeps advising me to make major decisions from

my gut, not my head.

Where does ACT align itself with that kind of

thinking, or does it? It would seem to on the surface

because it's about getting out of your mind. And my

friend is saying the same thing, but is talking about

tapping into intuition or something visceral ...

Thanks in advance for your thoughts ... I mean, guts

.... whatever!
