Hi Dr. ,

I love RFT and ACT. Thanks for all you've done. I've suffered with

Social Anxiety Disorder and Depression for over 20 years. I've tried

many medicines and CBT, but nothing worked until I found ACT. I now

believe a combination of CBT and ACT may cure me.

I've done the RFT tutorial twice, it was eye-opening. I've read

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy: An Experiential Approach To

Behavior Change. I created some of the worksheets from it. I'm

reading A Practical Guide To Acceptance And Commitment Therapy. Today

I expect to get ACT For Anxiety Disorders. And I'm anxiously (hehe)

awaiting your new book Get Out Of Your Mind & Into Your Life.

I belong to a couple of SAD support groups and have been touting ACT.

We're creating a local support group here in Miami, FL. I'm sure we

will be successful. ACT is revolutionary. Keep up the good work.

Tito :)

Welcome

I would also buy the ACT for anxiety

disorders book at New Harbinger.

Just came out this week. Eifert and Forsyth

are the authors

It is meant for professionals but it is

very cool and may help

We just had the ACT Summer Institute back

here in Philadelphia.

Amazing conference. We are starting to see

the field really move in this direction.

When I get back I will start working on

making this list serve work …

but we had to start somewhere and you are

it!
