Guest guest
Hi - as you know, 2 days into Wiley, I got that same UR thing. I'm finally feeling a bit better but I'm still weary. And on top of that, my office threatened me with getting here late. Of course, I'm late -- I can't get to sleep! So now I have to get up extra early and I'm just wasted. > I am overloaded with P, and got really sick on 5/14 with a respiratory > thing, fever, total exhaustion...I STILL haven't gotten much energy > back although the cough is nearly gone...I sit and stare at walls like > I am goofy. It takes a while to recover just one lost night. I've been there with my job teaching. Sometimes I'm so exhausted just driving to work is dangerous. The only thing I've found for a stop-gap measure is brewer's yeast. It's seems to pump me up for a little while. I now keep ziplock bags at work. I just down it in water in the bathroom. Doesn't taste great but whatever works. But if I'm too wasted nothing but sleep helps. I hear this all the time from the teachers I work with (teachings packed with 40-50 year old women). Younger women really can't relate so that's hard too if you're working with them. It's criminal so little research has been done on us. It' makes me sad to think of all the wasted talent and hard earned knowledge we have often going down to tubes because of hormone imbalances. Guest guest
Oh Lord when you teach, you ALWAYS have to be " on " . Yes, younger women don't relate and neither do our jobs. But what can we do? We are needed and have to be there! It's amazing how WELL I feel when I have enough sleep. But I couldn't tell you when the last time that was. Brewer's yeast? Yuck! > > > > that, my office threatened me with getting here late. Of course, I'm > > late -- I can't get to sleep! Yuck! > LOLOLOL.. well I should have said nutritional yeast. that's what I use. Brewers yeast is truly horrible. Nutritional isn't great but it's worth it. I use a brand by Frontier and it's not that bad. Lynn
Guest guest
Well Laurel told me my body is screaming for cod liver oil! Well I think I'll be screaming if I had to drink that stuff!!! I'd rather die! > > I have enough sleep. But I couldn't tell you when the last time that > > was. Brewer's yeast? Guest guest
NO NO NO trust me on this one!!!!! There are some great cod liver oils out there! You need not suffer here lololol...not like the yeast (which if you get frontiers brand isn't that horrible either) I use butter oil and cod liver oil from this source http://greenpasture.org/index.php/order I use mint flavor but have tasted the cinnamon and it's REALLY good. I do not lie to you on this!!!!! I swear I don't!!!! They have capsules but to use enough they are expensive. Don't bother. LOL...I met Laurel online in a whole different discussion group on diet and this kind of stuff. We were both very involved in the Weston Price foundation. Cod liver oil has made the biggest change in my eyesight of anything. I have no night vision problems now, colors got brighter, plus my gums and teeth are in great shape. (I've purposely not flossed only to have my dentist compliment me on the good care I'm taking of my teeth. LOLOL..I tell him but he says he doesn't buy it ) Check out this information http://www.westonaprice.org/basicnutrition/codliveroil.html If you've never seen the weston price information it's very worthwhile checking out.http://www.westonaprice.org/ Lynn > > > I have enough sleep. Guest guest
HA! HA! Okay I think you guys convinced me. I never took it as a child so I guess I need it now! I'd LOVE to see an improvement on my gums so I don't have to keep going for a cleaning every 3 months. Okay cinammon sounds good to me. What's the butter oil for? > > > > I have enough sleep. Guest guest
Charlotte- I just started taking the Omega capsules (fish oils). Do you like the perilla oil caps better? Where can I get them? And what is MVP ? I'm getting migraines again. I hope it's not from the estrogen! > Why don't you try taking Omega3 perilla oil caps, I can't take the fish oil ones....also a time release high B complex (standing in for brewers' yeast yuck) would probably be good for all of us, it is very important for proper hormone metabolism, especially for the heart, and most of us don't eat enough of that in their diets. Just don't take it at night, it might keep you alert. > Also had MVP and still tending to get fast fheartbeat and arrhythmia, hawthorn berry is a wonderful herb. If you get a racing heart at night, or to prevent it if you " see it coming " , get the liquid extract, so easy to take sublingually. Gotu Cola is another one that also helps cramps. > Pat, do you know if in these two any minute amounts of hormones are involved ? Anyway, this has helped me a lot while going through the detoxing from P. > Charlotte > > Re: I am REALLY wiped..... > > > Well Laurel told me my body is screaming for cod liver oil!
