Guest guest
I've been offline (computer problems) Don't take my absence for disinterest! I will be happy to answer all questions. That E number -1232 blew me away. Obviously, I'm doing some rethinking. I so appreciated " others " who have gone before and are willing to share to learn. One thing worthy of note is that I have never been on birth control pills, and only just used used " over the counter " hormone cream -P mostly, a little E, briefly right before going on the WP. By the way, I feel great (but it is the second month). Now I sleep great @ night, no night sweats, & think clearly. I feel almost normal. I used to go to bed and sleep during the day like I was ill, to get better - it didn't work. I don't do that anymore. I'm a little snappish during the P phase, things bother me more, but not too bad. I've had a very regular period all these years, very easy. I don't believe I had PMS, or very noticeable highs & lows month to month. In retrospect, my hormones were probably doing a good balancing act all these years. My MP symptoms were typical, migraines that came & went, yeast infections that came and went, some night sweats, some waking up, scaly skin, nothing too bad. I was unprepared for MS because it seemed to happen so fast. The biggest motivator to do something was the " losing my mind " symptom which came w/depression. I don't know which came first, -but I could 't think, -- now after hormones " I " am back almost like normal. I don't know if this problem is as published as it should be, but I know it is well known by this group. My next biggest complaint is weight gain - I am looking forward to being able to lose weight with balanced hormones. ( My body became totally different than it is used to be with diet.) Allergies appeared, with a loss of smell. (I can smell close up) I am monitoring this to see if the allergies lessen (they don't bother me, no itchy eyes, I don't feel stuffy) but I can't smell well, which is depressing. I used to wake up sometimes in the night, some night sweats. I sleep, no sweat. I have a little bit of a scaly skin problem (around my nose) still that I am monitoring. Only 6 weeks on the WP. Got my first period right on time (it has been 1 1/2 years) I just got my blood work results for E, and my doctor is not in until Monday. He has other patients on the WP. I am on the WP (Lauden Pharmacy in Capitola, CA-Santa Cruz County) who is familiar with this protocol. He made a comment that someone else was using a compounding pharmacy elsewhere (I think SB) and liked his better because is was easier, not so abrupt on the system - pardon my vocabulary to describe this - in fairness the comment could have been the nature of the individual. I'm alone in the sense that I am not speaking with anyone locally. My blood tests said <20 E, Low P (1.8), - but I had taken some P over the counter cream for a short time so this have been higher than my true " base " , high FSH (117), lower LH (36.3), high DHEA (303) -- low Estrone serum (43), Verdict - menopause. (if you want more values for interest I would be happy to furnish them) I am in good health with no problems other than menopause and its symptoms.
