Guest guest
I'm at the same place, . Since I am still itching, I'm not using anything today, and who knows, I may start on only 2 lines E by tomorrow, see how that goes, taking baby steps now even with E, because of possible late repercussion of (too much) E in the P-phase. My doctor warns me that it's "dangerous" to go off the WP dosing, and I told him it's dangerous to stay on it. He still prescribed the drops for me. , when you go on your cruise, try to have fun, that will help. But also take E and P with you and "be flexible" and trust your intuition or/and pray! Love, Charlotte Re: half life of P - (itching) Yes! Me and that cruise! WEll unfortunately we are back to square one now. Trying to figure what doses make us feel good! Guest guest
The E2 gel I use is 1.5mg/once a day. I rub it into my fat. This month I'm doing 300 mg Prometrium for 12 days. Next month I'll go back to 200 mg Prometrium for 10-12 days. Val -----Original Message-----From: rhythmicliving [mailto:rhythmicliving ]On Behalf Of Hi Val -- the 100 mg of P I took was a troche and it was once a day. With that and 5 mgs a day of E (cream from another pharmacy), I would get my period at Day 21 which was annoying. But it really wasn't a period -- it was more like a 3 day thing that wasn't any surge - not exactly spotting. So the 5 mgs a day I don't think was enough. What about your doses below? Are we talking BID?

Guest guest
I'm feeling pretty well but am having night sweats beginning at about 4 a.m. For the first year on E2 gel, I had no sweats. They started the 2nd year. I may go up on the gel after this P routine is done. Guest guest
This will be an interesting experiment. However, 200 mg of oral P is nowhere near the transdermal P levels of the WP. Also, oral P is not the same as saturating the fat as in transdermal P. Val Val, I got blood levels of 40 with 100mgs. micronized WIP P....my blood levels with 18L'sP cream was 7.7...so better to have all that P in the blood. The report I just read, WIP sent it to me years ago, stated that blood levels were sustained 36 hrs after a 5-day loading dose. This was in the oral P... Guest guest
Perhaps, but I remember having the sweats before I started the monthly Prometrium. Val -----Original Message-----From: rhythmicliving [mailto:rhythmicliving ]On Behalf Of Nuimom@... Val sounds like the extra 100mgs. of P was enough to throw your E off balance, now the night sweats...
Guest guest
The first two months (Jan-Feb), I thought I was going to burst out of my body. My nerves were horrible. HOWEVER, during that time, I was also recovering from a bad trial of Armour and prescription potassium. I think I was OD'd on potassium. My potassium falls when I try to take Armour. My doc tested and gave me and RX but I think it was too much. Val -----Original Message-----From: rhythmicliving [mailto:rhythmicliving ]On Behalf Of Laurel Did you ever not feel good on Prometrium? Guest guest
I think he was just repeating what Susie had told him. I think he spoke to Susie because Caren must have "warned" him of those dosage graphs on our RL site, and because I asked him to give me a prescription for the oo, and he didn't know what they were, and me xplaining him he was concerned and must have wanted "reassurance" from Susie, also (about my having heard of) Susie lowering the P to one half of what's in the WP, which she categorically denied. Anyway, my doctor is with me because he understands I cannot expose myself to any more suffering and changes in my skin (massive small acne eruptions) and nerves (insomnia). So he's willing to let me try but wants my dosage chart to look at. Why not. He also confirmed my right to take responsibility for my own body and well being the way I f e e l its best according to my experience... Charlotte Re: half life of P - (itching) Oh great! Guest guest
Right you are! I forgot that. Vliet said between 100 and 200 oral, respectively 20-40 transdermal would be the normal average.
