Guest guest
Hi everyone.... I'm still feeling Dorothy's lip gloss on my lips, as I write this. Today went far better than I could have ever thought. No pressure whatsoever. The way that Dorothy and I have been on the phone, online, and through email also transferred over to in person. We spent around 6 1/2 hours together, and I enjoyed each and every minute of that time. I had lunch with her at the certified Green restaurant here, and presented her with a nice arrangement of 6 pink carnations (her favorite color and flower). From there, we went bowling for two games (I won the first, and Dorothy won the second game). That's where we saw the most fun side of each other (a future reference of finding more fun type things like that to do). We went to Coolidge Park (the best park in Chattanooga), and walked around the park for awhile. Then, we went into the children's theater for a good hour/90 minutes. Back out walking around Coolidge Park for another hour. Then, headed off to Hamilton Place Mall for a good half hour at least. Dorothy drove me back to my place, where we enjoyed each other's company somemore, held hands, kissed a couple of times. I thanked her again for a wonderful time I had with her, and we went our separate ways. We'll see each other again on Thursday evening next week in Nashville, TN. She's taking the flowers I gave her to her office tomorrow. Apparently, everyone where she works at is curious to know how things went. A few of my co-workers are as well. I share this with all of you, because I am thankful to this group for helping me in my time of need. Being diagnosed officially with AS/ADHD is the best thing that could have happened to me. Not only did I end up accepting and loving myself for whom I am, but I found someone who accepts me and appreciates me for me and sees that my AS/ADHD is only a part of whom I am (and not that it controls me). Thank you everyone,
