norma and all,

i don't use any toxic products either.

someone on a lung list suggested an alternative for drains etc. equal parts vinegar and peroxide.

she works in a palliative care facility. i have since adopted this. 'nature clean' is an excellent product i use. they have toilet cleaner, tub and tile cleaner, laundry cleaner, all kinds of cleaners, all non toxic.

I also use a solution of 1 gallon of water with 1 cup of distilled white vinegar to mop my floors. When I had sinus surgery, I had a cleaning service clean my house and that is what they used on the vinyl floors. I also use distilled white vinegar, baking soda and boiling water to pour down my sink and tub drains to clean them. I do not use any toxic products in my house. Thank goodness for some inexpensive ingredients.
