Hi everyone I have been reading all the mail but not had the energy to reply. It has ben a very long week culminating in Isabelle's funeral yesterday.

We travelled up to London with our social worker, it was a long day as we needed to leave home at 6.30. As June said the weather was wild in the morning. I had been up with Rosie since 2.45 am and was very organised by the time we had to leave. The traffic was terrible and what should have been a little over an hours journey turned into almost two hours, thankfully we had left plenty of time.

We arrived at the Crematorium near Feltham in god time and Isabelle's birth parents were there to greet everyone. The funeral servce was a series of readings by people who loved this little girl so much and then her parents got up to speak, Her daddy was heart broken, he could barely make himself audible as he spoke with such love and regret of the baby he loved so dearly but had felt unable to do the things she needed. Her Mummy then spoke of her spirit, that touched so many lives and brought so many people together. They both just ooozed such love for their precious child. We felt honoured to be allowed to attend, and I had been worried about how the extened birth family and foster carers would accept our presence. In the event so many people came and thanked us for coming it was wonderful. At the reception afterwards Rosie stole the show. Everyone who had known and loved isabele was so pleased to meeet another child with cdLS, they had never heard of the syndrome before

Isabelle so it was lovely for them to see Rosie, even when it was also painful. Isabelle's Daddy spent a long time just watching her and interacting with her and obviously finding it hard as well as being glad she was there.

Please continue to pray for this precious couple as they move through their grief. We have tried to reassure them they have no reason for regrets and guilt. Every decision they made for Isabelle they made out of pure love never did they reject her. They wanted to do what was best for her. Too late did they realsie that they could give her that themselves.

Please continue to pray for al who loved Isabelle. 2nd October is her 1st birthday and I am sure that is going to bring a whole new episode of grief.

Much love
